When I read those articles, I realized that the ideas of them have similarity. In Ways of Seeing, “You painted a naked woman because you enjoyed looking at her… thus morally condemning the woman whose nakedness you had depicted for your own pleasure. " The Female Nude says “The desire to look, and to “possess”by looking, in the end only demonstrates that looking is not the same as “having.” Those artists used painting naked female to please themselves without being sleazy. Moreover, they explain nude is an noble art form, and female is just an object. It seems like if male want to do something that just need to make up a good reason. However,the way that males dominate females has not been changed too much in present. Some females are still very care about what males think about them, such as appearances, dressing, and behaviors.First impressions are based on appearance. When we see someone for the first time, even when there is no communication, we still make evaluations and judgments about our first impressions.  Those females are not very confident because they might still economic or mentally rely on males. Therefore, women  become more and more independent, also start to change those standards of being a qualified  women upon males.
